ANNCENSORED - LOWER PAREL -anncensored Means - two diff types of cuisines -CENSORED AND ANNCENSORED

If not the distance this place shall be the one I would head out to when I am craving for tasty of modern indian food. Also the ambience did the magic for me. Located at a lower parel , and they also have parking space. We were the early birds so grabbing a table wasn’t an issue.

Yes it's anncensored Means modern India - two diff types of cuisines censored - Asian and European food and anncensored from modern Indian

I was stumbling to settle down with my order for the meal as the menu screams at you to try everything. So keeping it simple, it was soup, two appetisers, mains and dessert.

And the garma garam (hot)  mushroom tea with mushrooms ricotta dumpling soup was light and the essence of dumplings lifts the taste; the soft mushroom  pieces and consistency of the soup was bang-on.

The starters took a vegetarian detour to  malai mushroom with shishito pepper Amul cheese fondue . The malai mushroom  is a total winner; the smooth and melt-in-mouth cheese  and malai  were flavour-filled and cooked to perfection. And the tasty amul cheese fondue  tops them so well.

The beetroot tikki  chat - crispy CHAT  with imli chutney  had its flaws, the beetroot was soft and cooked and  perfectly fried . The sweetness  was domination the entire dish and  the beetroot had  crispy edges.

Rich, creamy and mind-blowingly delicious Ratatouille stuffed baby brinjal lababdar gravy   is just a delight in mouth. I love baigan  and thAT was just too perfect with Laccha paratha
for the gravy; also the juicy vegetables   is a bliss and one of the best tasting  ratatouille I have had in recent past. Ofcourse naan was also too good.

Orange mohito -The perfect way to end the meal was with a chilled drink .

The dishes are portioned fine for sharing. Presentation and ingredients used to enhance the flavour are great.

Orange cheese cake

yummy sitapal falooda
And I must appreciate  Mr.Ajay  for lending his ears to listen to our likes or dislikes about food and taking our proposals positively. And special mention to the dessert spoon, that’s one hell of a cutlery artwork and perfectly made to let you enjoy the dessert. both the desserts were so yummy and tummy full''

Navratri is a special occasion. A time for new beginnings and offering your dedication and reverence to the Goddess Shakti. This Navratri, bring home and institute a Meru Prusth Shree Yantra – a beautiful, divine symbol of the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi herself.

DAY 3 NAVRATRI

The rituals to be followed on the third day of Navratri to worship ‘Maa Chandraghanta' are to be followed diligently. One should first worship all the Gods, Goddesses and Planets in the ‘Kalash' and then offer prayer toLord Ganesha and Kartikeya and Goddess Saraswati, Lakshmi, Vijaya, Jaya – the family members of Goddess Durga.
The puja should be concluded by worshipping Goddess Chandraghanta followed by a heartfelt prayer to Lord Shiva and Lord Brahma.
The color for the third day of Navratra is white. One should prefer wearing white color on this day.
In order to appease Maa Chandraghanta, one should offer her milk, sweets and kheer. She fulfills all the wishes of a devout and provides relief from worldly pains.

In Hinduism, Chandraghanta is the third form of Goddess Durga.
Her name Chandra-Ghanta, means "one who has a half-moon shaped like a bell". She is also known as Chandrakhanda, Chandika or Rannchandi. Her worship takes place on the third day of Navaratri.
She is believed to reward people with her grace, bravery and courage. By her grace all the sins, distresses, physical sufferings, mental tribulations and ghostly hurdles of the devotees are eradicated.
The devotees who adore and worship her develop an aura of divine splendor. They easily achieve success in life.
Chandraghanta is ready to destroy the wicked, but to her devotees she is a kind and compassionate Mother showering peace and prosperity. During the battle between her and the demons, the horrible sound produced by her bell sent thousands of wicked demons to the abode of the Death God. She is ever in a warring posture which shows her eagerness to destroy the foes of her devotees so that they may live in peace and prosperity.
May the Goddess bless each one of us and empower us to fight our demons and succeed in all our ventures

On Day 3 of Navratri, Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped. She is the bestower of peace and serenity. She showers Supreme bliss and knowledge on her devotees.
She is the third form of ‘Maa Durga' whom we worship throughout the nine days of Navratri. Maa Chandraghanta carries an aural serenity.
Maa Chandraghanta got her name so because she has a ‘Chandra' – a moon on her forehead which appears as a ‘ghanta' – a bell. The sound of the bell wards off evil spirits from her devotees.

One can invoke Maa with this mantra -
It means, I join hands in front of the supreme Goddess and adore the goddess with a bell shaped mark of moon on her forehead and I ask for the forgiveness for all the bad deeds I have done in my life.

Education and nutrition of children are the bedrocks of founding a prosperous nation. We are pleased to host the launch event for this commendable campaign."

In India, food has always been considered sacred, a token of love, shared happiness and care. Which makes it even more unfortunate that more than 25 million children in our country have to sleep hungry every day. For them food means the struggle to survive. Childhood is said to be the best part of one’s life – but for these kids, surrounded by poverty, hunger and hopelessness; many of them not even getting a single full meal in a day – a happy childhood is a distant dream.

navratri - day two

Brahmacharini means a devoted female student who lives in an Ashrama with her Guru along with other students. It is also the name of the second aspect of Goddess Durga(Parvati). The Goddess is worshipped on the second day of Navratri.
Brahma means "the one self-existent Spirit, the Absolute Reality, Universal Self, Personal God, the sacred knowledge.
charini is the feminine version of one who is a charya, which means "occupation with, engaging, proceeding, behaviour, conduct, to follow, going after."
The word brahmacharini in Vedic texts means a female who pursues the sacred religious knowledge.
May the goddess bless each one of us with the power to realise our own worth and to step out of our comfort zones. May everyone be blessed with abundant energy to pursue all that, interests them.

t’s time to soak in the ritualistic prayers, the chant of mantras and the vibrance of Navratri. While it’s important to make the most of this time, it’s also important to stay healthy and maintain a diet that helps you get through the coming 9 days of continuous fasting.
Navratri commences on the first day (pratipada) of the lunar month of Ashwin. During the nine-day-long festival, nine forms of Shakti are worshiped; Durga, Kali, Amba, Gauri, Sheetal, Bhairavi, Chandi, Lalita, Bhavani and Tara.
Navratri is celebrated twice – once during the spring season and once during fall. Considering the scientific facts, these two durations are the exact times when your bodies become more vulnerable to diseases and changes. Just to keep up with the seasonal changes, a good diet is a must. And this is exactly where Navratri diet comes into picture.
The diet is actually a mix of scientific and religious rituals. If taken properly, it helps cleansing your system and prepares you for the seasonal changes coming your way. Here’s a quick guide on how to stay away from acidity, indigestion, lack of energy and drowsiness during your fasting.

- Don’t plan your day without water. Keep yourself hydrated with fluids like coconut water, buttermilk, green tea, lemon water other than just plain water.
- The whole idea of Navratri diet is in fact a good detox routine, only if you follow it right and don’t be too lenient with what you gorge on.
- Rock salt (sendha namak), the only salt one can using during Navratri, is not just beneficial for your blood pressure but also helps in absorption of minerals better than common salt. Hence, the quantity should be appropriate.
- Just because you’re on a fast, doesn’t mean you’ve the right to stuff yourself with fried fast food. Don’t overeat. Don’t go over-board with snacks.
- Opt for roasted, boiled and baked meal to help you balance the effect of fried snacks you plan to eat.
- Considering the fact that kuttu flour is a combination of carbohydrates and proteins, having kuttu flour during this time is a good idea.
- If and when you want to eat ‘namkeens’ specially made for fasts, console yourself and guzzle up fruits or roasted nuts as your mid-day munchies.
- While your lunch could be a heavy one, the dinner should be kept light. Going for a green tea post dinner will give you the required brownie point.

Shailputri is the first form amongst Navadurga or nine forms of Hindu goddess Durga or Shakti, worshipped on first day during the Navratri celebrations. She is the first among Navadurgas and the first day of Navratri pooja is dedicated to Her.
Shailaputri means the daughter of the Himalaya. Shila means a rock or stone!
Dedicating today's 9kms to all the pillars of strength in my life. And to each and every woman who is indestructible and unperturbed, for all that life throws at her.

According to Hindu mythology, Shailaputri is believed to be the rebirth of Sati. She was the daughter of Daksha Shailputri and was born to the King of Mountains. Shail means mountain and Putri means daughter. Goddess Shailaputri symbolizes the power of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. She is quite recognizable as she rides a bull and carries a trident along with a lotus in her hands.

Om Aim Hreem Kleem Chamundaye Vichaye Om Shailputri Dewya Namah
