NRI -BKC (NOT REALLY INDIAN)



It's good to visit such places once in a while..



they have a concept that they follow.. and its not regular. It's like they took some of the Indian dishes on a world tour and brought them back with a tan..a beautiful one.. !!

 


little bit on a higher side on you pocket bit thats what most of the restaurants in BKC area are.

chef .siddharth adapted Indian cuisine to suit their environments and created a new fusion cuisine that blended local and Indian ingredients and culinary techniques..
I startedwith yum hot piping tomato soup as i always love soup...

then i had
STEAMED RICE VERMICELLI WITH POL SAMBAL,SEENI SAMBOL, SWEETEN COCONUT MILK - making this dish lip-smacking.

THEN I ORDERED
FERMENTED RICE PANCAKE WITH LUNU MIRIS AND SEENI SAMBAL....-The crepe or dosa that is soft and perfectly complements the curries, the mild sourness in the batter does the magic.

BUNNY CHOW-I felt the place with a hefty tummy and broad smile after gulping hearty and homely meal from the magic hands of Siddharth Kalyanaraman

Desserts were wheeled (MITHAIWALA)to the table on a cart and it comprised of blueberry cheesecake, three chocolate mousse, tart etc.,,

Table staff Anoj deserves special praise,

chef. siddharth was so happy to see a south indian at NRI so he told to have idappam -. It oozes of creativity both for the eyes and the palate!
with is a rich and flavourful stew accompanied..


Overall, an American style restaurant in Mumbai worth a visit. 5/5
chef siddharth curated unique exotic flavors brought straight at your table. I was quite surprised with the ‘different’ flavors which blended beautifully in succession providing with a never-had-before experience.
All in all, you should visit this place to try something different.
