Ask any chef or restaurateur what their biggest woe in the F&B operation is - more often than not, they'll tell you it's the sheer amount of wastage that a kitchen sees on a daily basis.
We at Cornucopia wished to address this pressing issue and come up with a possible alternative - and we have! Cornucopia is proud to announce a partnership with the Robin Hood Army a volunteer-based NGO that collects freshly prepared and nutritious food from restaurant kitchens and distributes them among the homeless and needy community in the same locality.
You may have heard of their #Mission500K project when they distributed about 516 thousand meals to the homeless in India as well as Pakistan on Independence Day. The RHA is now spread across various cities in India and Pakistan, and serves meals every weekend to about 20000 needy citizens in India alone.
We couldn't be more delighted to partner with these folks at and do our small bit for the community, and we are thrilled that the delicious food prepared at #Cornucopia17 will also find its way to the less privileged and just as deserving.
