747 - Chennai's First Flight Themed Restaurant at Thoraipakkam,

747 flight theme, have to mention this. It was so gud . Seating and the ambience and the whole setup was very well organized. Coming to the food, all the starters which we ordered was amazing and good taste like wise the main dishes and desserts. 747

Loved the way they have maintained the feel not leaving any point uncovered, from the uniforms to the seating! Must mention are the "Flight Theme Plates". The restaurant covers variety of cuisines.
One liner: The moment you enter, you ll be tuned to #FlightMode..!
Nice place to visit with friends and family.

The ambience was superb, upto our expectation.. the best part is the sound played inbetween of 'Take up' and 'Landing' of the flight.. food was too delicious... Had a blast experience...

THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE DRESSED LLIKE CABIN CREW , WITH SOME OF THEM SPORTING PILOTS WINGS. THE MULTI CUISINE SPREAD IS DELICIOUS AND OFFERS LARGE PORTIONS AT NOMINAL PRICES. COST FOR TWO. 800 RS......FROM THE ENTRANCE , 747 AEROPLANED THEMED RESTAURANT GETS YOU EXCITED ABOUT THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE..IN THE TERMINAL LOBBY YOU ARE GREETED BY SWTARS TWINKLING ON THE WALLS AND CEILING. RESERVATIONS ARE COMPULSORY... YOU UNDERSTAND WHY WHEN YOU ARE HANDED A BOARDING PASS WITH THE DATE, TIME, NAME AND NUMBER OF DINERS PRINTED ON IT AS YOU CHECK IN ... WHEN THE DOOR TO THE DINING AREA IS OPENED , IT REALLY IS LIKE STEPPING ONTO AN AIRCRAFT , FROM THE SEATS TO THE AC VENTS , LIGHTS AND CALL BUTTON OVERHEAD..PERHAPS THE ONLY UNREALISTIC aspect is the amount of leg space , but then again, most of us are only used to economy class...

coming to the food part we had bangkok garlic soup, five spicy cauliflower, hunan chi spt chi shorba, shanghai chicken, smart spicy prawn , chinese veg fried rice, prawn pepper fry, fish finger , wow panner...my all time favourite...drooling it was... patiyala fish....chilli garlic noodles, mango salads , andhra chilli chicken... ending up with an yummy tasty. mocktail...... virjin mojito
