Watermelon Rind kheer

watermelon rind 1cup(shredded)
milk 2cups
sugar 1/2 cup
cashew,raisins and saffron(for kids only i add this.for me i dont add this)
Heat a strong bottomed pan.add ghee fry cashew and raisins.keep aside
now add shredded WM rind saute until the raw smell leaves.add milk and allow it boil for few mts.stir in between and check the rinds are cooked well.if the kheer is slightly thick than add sugar,roasted nuts ,elachi powder and saffron.give a quick boil till the sugar dissolves.
