From now on it’s all about food. Not just the classics but they have brought in some twists to their food.
As I landed up there , the food portions and presentation and setup that would grab your attention in no-time.
Chaat!gol gappa chat....
And the twist always amps up the excitement. The freezing cold bursts with sweet, sour and spicy flavours in my mouth
and simultaneously the arrives to the tables to take me on a roller coaster ride. The crispy masala papad , crunchy and the blend of chaat masala, , papad rolled sitting on the green chutney was a frozen delight.
started with a welcome drink virgin mojoto
With too many dishes making their way to the table, So it was an almost perfect night with breezy air, lovely Bollywood numbers and tasty food.
I am a kebab wala ;-) Yes, I have an immense love for good kebab. The tangy and spicy flavours of broccoli kebab and naram dil kebab along with the crunchyness, broccoli and the delicious cheese , white sour sauce and green chutney was a bliss.
After some chaat over a chat, the must tries were the delicacies from the balla is dahi bhalla chat , “heaven on earth” is the phrase each fanatic would utter seeing the dishes.
charcoal mushroom is a delight. A whole mushroom is wrapped inside cheese and slow cooked for hours approx., though that’s how it should be made I wished for more crispiness after munching down some spicy charcoal mushroom chaat.
Hey vegetarians, we still have more food coming our way. And the crunchy, spicy and one of the most flavourful indo mexican quesdilla is my favourite. With the chutneys, the quesdilla was too good to let go off.
And the three types of pickles is presented in three different flavours mango, avla and pudina , where I don’t prefer avla in any form but this would be an ideal substitute for me and as iam happy tasting mango too in this season
the tomato basil soup is without doubt tasted delicious.
The kadai pasta with naan was THE dish of the day.
the all time my fav thali came............... awwwwwww ...
my fav kheer
The creamy and rich dal makhni is lip-smacking and delightful.
Nevertheless was the chole, the chickpeas just melts in your mouth and the masala is a perfecto for the kulcha; it was different from the chole masala you get for chole bhature.
I loved the paneer kulcha;
paneer delhi style
with methi mutter malai
The food presentation and the quality of the food in-terms of taste and use of ingredients were great
peas pulav
Finally some desserts to sign off, don’t forget to grab a glass pot of this delhi lassi if you are here – thick, creamy and yum. Another divinely delicious dish was thejalebi with rabdi , loved this one to bits. And something hot for the cozy weather –served with rabdi . Dip the jaleebi and relish the sweet delights; each time you dip them, the rabdi absorbs the jaleebi flavour thus making the dessert more delicious
my all time fav lassi
