his year’s Diabetic Food Trail starts on 12th November 2016. Celebrated chefs from acclaimed restaurants across the country will get a chance to showcase their culinary talents to an all new set of target audience that did not have many options for healthy and diabetic food in the city.
As Seema Pinto – Director, Semora Entertainment Works and the brain behind this initiative says, “The focus of the second edition is on Diet and Fitness in effective Diabetes management. For a person with diabetes, eating nutritious and well-balanced meals with a regular fitness routine is vital in managing diabetes. This applies to pre-diabetics and the health conscious too”
Keeping in mind, the hectic lifestyle of today’s youth and adults, it has become extremely difficult to maintain one’s health. Upon seeing this, we will be introducing two main attractions to this edition's Diabetic Food Trail - 1) Diabetic Masterclasses 2) Diabetic Fitness Bootcamps.
The Briannia NutriChoice Essentials Diabetic Masterclasses will help individuals understand the ingredients, nutritional values, read packaging labels, learn exciting recipes which will help elevate the eating habits of diabetics without compromising on taste. These masterclasses will be held by renowned nutritionists and chefs across the 5 cities.
Ali Harris Shere, Vice President - Marketing, Britannia Industries Ltd. - "India is known as the Diabetes Capital of the world and ranks 2nd in the world after China with 69 million people living with diabetes. With special focus on getting fit, the Fitternity Diabetic Fitness Bootcamps tailored for diabetics will be conducted by fitternity.com

Some of the restaurant favourites will also make it to these menus and these dishes will be reengineered to suit the requirements of diabetics.
“Biocon has been making a difference to the life of millions of diabetics for over a decade. Seema Pinto, who is a diabetic, is very passionate about the Diabetic Food Trail, and hopes that in the years to come, the Diabetic Food Trail is not restricted to just 3 weeks in a year. Her vision is to see that all the restaurants will serve a healthy and diabetic friendly menu as part of the regular menu, thereby giving people a choice to eat healthy, throughout the year. She says. “With the current lifestyle being what it is, it isn’t uncommon for people to get diabetes at an early age. Most people are not aware that they are pre-diabetic and can postpone the onset of diabetes with a well-managed diet and fitness programme. This is a humble initiative on our part to make people aware and take action”

Aragulla with cranberry and toasted walnut
Squash and golden corn soup
And the garma garam (hot) soup was light and the essence of dumplings lifts the taste; the soft golden corn pieces and consistency of the soup was bang-on.
Broccoli croquettes
The starters took a vegetarian detour to broccoli . The croquettes is a total winner; the smooth and melt-in-mouth and were flavour-filled and cooked to perfection.
Tofu and veg stir fry with brown rice
Rich, and mind-blowingly delicious tofu and veg stir fry with brown rice is just a delight in mouth. I love brown rice and thAT was just too perfect with veg stir fry
also the juicy vegetables is a bliss and one of the best tasting tofu I have had in recent past. Ofcourse stir fry was also too good. And I must appreciate chef. parimal sawant for lending his ears to listen to our likes or dislikes about food and taking our proposals positively. And special mention to the dessert spoon, that’s one hell of a cutlery artwork and perfectly made to let you enjoy the dessert. it was yum. i had two times ....
Presentation and ingredients used to enhance the flavour are great.
A great applause in terms of variety and presentation.
Food and dining experience comes at all different prices. So when I plan to visit a restaurant the first thing I think about is money. Though food, taste and other factors are important, the money I spend for my meal makes the difference. And dining at a luxurious restaurant remains a dream for many after we take a glance at meluha and their menu card.So that’s when the TIARA MENU concept comes handy for food .lovers. worth eating and enjoying the food.
chef.PARIMAL SAWANT have designed diabetic-friendly menu for people with diabetes. It will provide a taste of varied, delicious and healthy culinary choices that adhere to the calorific and dietary requirements of diabetics ..SO GO VISIT MELUHA AND TRY TIARA MENU .....WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR.....
