urulai sadam

1. Peel the potatoes and cut into small cubes.
2. Fry this potatoes to golden colour. (Deep fry).
3. Wash and clean 1 cup basmati rice and keep it for 30 mts.

4. In a pressure cooker add oil , once it is hot put jeeragam, onion, ginger, green chilly fry nicely .
5. Finely chop tomatoes and add to the onion.
Saute it , now add rice and saute till the rice colour changes .
6. Now add turmeric powder, chilly powder, garam masala powder, salt mix everything evenly.
7. Now add the fried potatoes and mix it.
8. Finally add little pudina leaves, coriander leaves.
9. Pour 2 cups water close the lid.
10. Wait for two whistle, when the steam goes off open and serve hot, spicy,golden potatoe rice. With raita or chips
