Dahi bhalla for dinner to beat the Mumbai Heat

Soak Urad dal for one hour. Grind it in mixie in a thick consistency like vada. While grinding add one tea spoon of jeera, one green chilli, ginger one piece, one spoon kismiss and one tea spoon kadalai podi or besan. Add salt to taste. Deep fry bhalla. Take a bowl. Add one full bowl of curd ( beat the curd and add half a tea spoon of sugar, salt). I have added cooked alu (potato). But it is optional. add sweet chutney (usual one made of imili, dates and vellam), green chutney. It is ready to eat.
