A MAJESTIC WOODEN STAIRCASE LEADS ONE TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE, THE BARANONIAL INTERIOR IS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR AMONGST THE TRADITIONAL BANQUET SPACES WITHIN THE CITY.THE COLONIAL WINDOWS ALLOW THE SUNLIGHT TO SHINE THROUGH THE POTTED GREENERY IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT AMPLIFIES THE CHARACTER OF THE VENUE.



Location Location Location: Twist of India is being held at Yiamas: The Experimental Space. A majestic wooden staircase leads one to the main entrance. With the fresh baronial interior which is a break from the stuffy traditional banquet spaces, this is a great place for all kinds of events. With Twist of India's modern take on Indian cuisine and Yiamas' modern take on a banquet space, It's a match made in heaven.


THERE ARE WOODEN BEAMS THAT SIT LIKE A CROWN JEWEL AGAINST THE WHITE WASHED ROOF. CORINTHIAN STYLE COLUMNS CHRISTEN .THE VENUE HOLDING UP THE WOODEN BEAMS GIVING THE SPECTATOR SOMETHING TO STOP AND MARVEL AT,


THE VINTAGE BALCONY JUST TIES THE VENUE TOGETHER WITH THE WOODEN FRAME AND THE BOUGAINVILLEAS HANGING FROM THE ROOF GIVES ONE THE SENSE OF A GREEK COUNTRY VILLA.



THIS 2000 SQ FT SPACE IS  SITUATED IN THE HEART OF WHAT WAS ONCE IN BRITISH BUSINESS DISTRICT AND IS CURRENTLY THE HERITAGE AREA OF THE CITY..  THE STYLE OF THE BRITISH RAJ CAN BE SEEN IN THE STRUCTURAL SIMPLICITY WITHIN THE VENUE WITH ITS WOODEN DETAILING THROUGHOUT ,THIS GIVES THE SPACE THE VERSATILITY,,,, THATS UNIQUE TO YIAMAS .

Yiamas the experimental space, in collaboration with The Gourmet Kitchen & Studios presents “Twist of India” a Pop-up restaurant, the brainchild of Chef Harsh Shodhan. A pre-plated six-course fusion vegetarian meal to be hosted at Yiamas in Ballard Estate on August 6th and 7th, Twist of India promises to create a unique dining experience- a culmination of great food, music and ambience for gastronomes and aesthetes in the city.

India has a long history of adapting various cuisines from around the globe to suite our distinct palate. Yiamas has decided to further the cause and do it right! At Twist of India, Chef Harsh aims at presenting global cuisines with an underlying essence of India, thereby enhancing the final dish to give you something different and exciting. As the world moves towards the greeners side, get ready to taste the vegetarian ‘twist’ offered by dishes like a paprdelle with a tuver daal reduction or a paneer makhni taco!

From the delicate Amuse-bouche, bite sized individual appetizers, palette cleansers, entrees and of course some decadent desserts Twist of India will take you on a trip to gastronomia, seducing all your five senses!  The 6 course meal comprises of dishes like Paneer Makhni Bunny Chow, Indian Crepes with Mushroom Duxelle and Red Wine Reduction or a fabulous deconstructed Mawa cake with chocolate cardamom mousse, to name a few.

What could be a better way to spend a monsoon weekend, than savouring luscious food with your loved one amidst beautiful art, lively fusion music and the beautiful ambience at Yiamas. The vintage look of Yiamas coupled with the abundance of natural light, bare white walls, and minimalistic wooden frame interiors make it a perfect occasion to book for a dinner date or a friend and family dining experience.
