chunkies chutties payasam

  • 1/4 cup - rice
  • 1/4 cup - jaggery
  • 4 tsp - ghee
  • 1 tsp - ghee for garnishing
  • 1tsp - cut cashews, raisins  and badams
  • 2biscuits of chunkies  as kids hate jaggery this biscuits fives you a crunchy and tasty to drink the payasam 


    1. Cook the rice.
    2. When it is ready, take it in a pan and add jaggery to it.
    3. When the jaggery completely dissolves in the rice, add the 1 tsp of ghee to it.
    4. Take a pan and heat it with the 4 tsps of ghee in it.
    5. Add some cashews, raisins and badam to it.
    6. When the cashews turn slightly brownish, then add it to the payasam mix.
