EDIBLE KATORI FILLED WITH PULSES

Take all purpose flour / maida..add salt ,ajwain make dough with little water..allow it to settle for half hour...roll it like pooris and place it on the back of a steel small katori..spread it well covering the backside of the steel katori...Heat oil and put the katori inside along with the back covering...slowly the maida katori will leave the steel katori away...pull out the steel katori and allow the maida katori to get fried for a minute...remove it and place in tissue paper..

FRIED KATORIS READY TO BE FILLED 



 Fillings could be of many kinds....I have used cooked pulses ,boiled potato ,tomatoes,onion,Dhaniya, green and sweet chutney ,curd ,sev.,salt...add chutneys and small pieces of potatoes to pulses ..put them in katori and garnish with the rest ingredients also sprinkle black salt and chilli powder...Hari om..for the filling u may use diff fruits or other veg like cabbage , bell peppers of diff colours..
