Oats kichadi without any dal



(A daily serving of whole oats rich in soluble fibre can reduce hypertension, or high blood pressure, 
Oats have a high fiber content. Fiber is necessary in keeping bowel movements regular
Oats have a higher concentration of well-balanced protein than other cereals. Oats contain phytochemicals (plant chemicals) which have been associated with protection from chronic disease such as cancer).


Oats 1\2 cup
Sweet corn 1\2 cup(crushed)
Green peas 1\2 cup(crushed)
Ginger 1\4 inch (crushed)
Garlic pod 3 (crushed)
Carrot 1\4 cup (cut and crushed)
Haldi powder 1\2 tsp
Red chilli powder 1\2 tsp
Daniya powder 1\2 tsp
Hing powder 1;pinch
Black pepper 1\4 tsp
Jeera 1\4 tsp
Salt to taste
Ghee 2 tsp
Green chilli 2 (slitted)

Method
Heat 1 tsp ghee in a pan, add black pepper and jeera and fry until aroma comes, crush them into coarse powder.
Boil the oats and keep aside
Heat ghee in a pan, add jeera, slitted chill,crushed garlic and saute.
Add crushed corn,carrot, peas and saute for few min.
Add haldi powder, chilli powder, daniya powder.
Mix well and add the cooked oats to it.
Add pepper, jeera powder and hing powder.
Mix well. Add required quantity of water.
Boil in high flame for few min.
Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and butter.
Serve hot with roasted papad for breakfast.
