kara kara thattai

Four portions of Rice Flour, a quarter (1/4) portion of Urad Dal dry-fried and powdered. Mix both, adding enough salt and chilli powder. Add some melted butter, and a spoon of grated coconut. Mix. Then, add some chopped curry leaves and some soaked Chana Dal. Add water, and make it into a dough.Take a plastic sheet. Apply oil. Take small balls from the dough, and flatten it with the palms. Prick it with a fork, so that they do not puff. Carefully take out from the sheet, and deep fry in oil.
