India's first cake-craft competition and exhibition is here
One of the hidden gems in town when it comes to cakes  (atleast that's how I felt when I first knew the place) is at
Cakeology 2016 - Cake Fest and Beyond

Cakeology took place from September 16  till September 18, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Center, Goregaon, to celebrate the world of baking and the art of cake decorating.

The event is packed with live hands-on workshops and demonstrations by some of the most renowned international and local cake artists. The show also includes live and display competitions alongside an exhibit area - the "Cakeology Market Place" - a specially designed showcase area, which will provide an excellent opportunity to collect qualified leads, make sales, build relationships and much more.

“Free Ka Khaana?? Sahi Hai Yaar”
“All you have to do it eat & write few words!!! Big Deal”
“Kitna khaati hai tu??”
“Mujhe bhi leke jaa ne tere saath, free ka khaana khaane”
“I will also post few pics”
Its been more than a year that I am part of my foodie group Eat.Review.Repeat and I have heard these statements & much more from a lot of guys. Many of fellow food-bloggers/Reviewers (Call us whatever you wanna call) have shared their thoughts already but, I wish to repeat in my way.
Let me begin by stating – I have always been someone who is constantly eating/munching. Ask my friends/colleagues, they will testify.

when i got an special invite from them as a food blogger, as a master chef season 4 finalists, i was flying in the sky as i love cakes...... without cakes my day never ends....

Keeping them company are others who make that possible by bringing the latest and most incredible cake technology within reach. For our part, we want to help them do that with better access to world-class know-how."

"These days, cakes aren't only about flavour — people want novelty. You can design anything on a cake now and here, we intend to show you how to do just that," says Khushi Malani, founder of CakeKraft India, the people behind Cakeology.

A three-day event has  introduced Mumbai's baking enthusiasts to everything they need to know about cake décor and artistry

The three-day event will feature demos, half-day classes, daily competitions, an exhibit area and a market -place for cake décor products. There will also be display cakes, about seven to 10 feet tall and featuring intricate patterns. The organisers have flown in three international baking artists, who will hold classes on air brushing, creating sugar people and gravity-defying cakes.

"This is a great opportunity to witness Hands on Workshop, Live demos by international & national cake artists and live & display competitions under one roof! Whether you are a novice, an advanced baker or a retailer, this is an unparalleled opportunity for baker to learn new skills, upgrade your existing ones at the hands of the baking industry's top names." added Farzana Gandhi, Project Consultant.

A chocolate fairy named Frannie wearing a wafer paper dress and chocolate body; a moveable and edible BB8 droid, a pastel water colour cake, edible autumn wreaths…at Cakeology 2016, you can have your cake and eat it too.

When the best talent in cake decorating from The UK decide to work on a cake together, you know it's not going to be an ordinary cake demo.
The English Enchanted Garden promises as many surprises as its name suggests.

With more than 10 demos under one roof and spread over 3 days, this kind of a learning opportunity doesn't come along very often for a baker.

one thing I still couldn't get over, the cherry confetti that oozes out as you bite the finest, soft and crumbly choux is drool-worthy. They have nailed the flavours .

Taste: Whatsoever I have tried, it was delicious. The sweet delights are my favourite, especially the pineapple stuffed biscuits .. and fruit and nut chocolates

So definitely I didn't have all these in a single visit i went all the three days to munch.
