Vilampazha (wood apple) podi

1.vilampazham normal size 5 -6 nos
2.urid dhal 50 gms
3.red chillies 10 nos(adjust acc to spiciness)
4.gingelly oil 3-4 tbsp
5.hing 1 tsp
6 salt as required
Method
1.Roast urid dhal and red chillies seperately in 1 tbsp oil.
2.Seperate the vilampazham from its shell and add it in balance 3 tbsp oil.cut the pazham using the spatula while frying in oil.keep frying in medium flame until it gets fully dried.(like we fry for paruppu usili).they will get seperated very well.put off the flame at this stage.
3.once they get cooled down,add all the ingredients in the mixer and blend it nicely.
4.vilampazha podi is ready.store it in the refrigerator.
