This is an Instant Milk Peda prepared using milk powder & condensed milk. It tastes more like Fudge as it has a chewy texture... Don't expect the store bought peda taste.. Itz a quick version..
Milk Peda
Ingredients:
Milk Powder 2 cups
Condensed Milk 1 can
Butter 2 tbspn/ 1 small stick
Cardamom powder a pinch ( Optional)
Chopped Pista, Badam to garnish
Method:
In a wide non stick pan melt the butter, add condensed milk, milk powder & cardamom powder & mix well to avoid lumps. Cook on a low flame until the mixture gets thicker & roll like a ball without sticking on the sides of the pan. Switch off the heat & allow it to cool down for 7-8 mins. Grease your hands with ghee, When it is still warm take a small lemon sized portion, make a ball, slightly flatten it, make a small dent in the center & garnish with chopped almonds & pistachios.
